The Land Use and Development Committee endeavors to implement the development guidelines established in the Broad Ripple Village Plan (adopted by the Department of Metropolitan Development in November 2012) and submits recommendations to the BRVA board and Department of Metropolitan Development regarding zoning and planning issues and local and state boards and commissions regarding the issuance of alcoholic beverage permits.

  • 6230 and 6280 North College Avenue (Marko on the Canal) – Joe Calderon from Barnes & Thornburg, will be appearing in representation of KGBR LLC and 6280 LLC with a presentation on the petition filed for a Variance of Development Standards of the Consolidated Zoning and Subdivision Ordinance to provide for the construction of a mixed-use building with a building height of up to 68-foot tall, with extensions up to 82.5-foot tall for an elevator shaft and stairwell.
