The Land Use and Development Committee endeavors to implement the development guidelines established in the
Broad Ripple Village Plan (adopted by the Department of Metropolitan Development in November 2012) and submits recommendations to the BRVA board and Department of Metropolitan Development regarding zoning and planning issues and local and state boards and commissions regarding the issuance of alcoholic beverage permits.

  • 1849 Broad Ripple Avenue - Blooming Star Properties, LLC: Justin Kingen with NDZA, Inc., presenting on a request to rezone the 0.12-acre property from the D-5 district to the C-1 district to provide for commercial office and body care salon to support the relocation of Lotus Spa and Nails. Case #2025-ZON-093 - Hearing scheduled for September 25, 2025
